Perhaps a bit too in depth for it's own good.

If you already have been trying aerial then skip ahead to about half way through.

That was pretty good Mr. Towels.

Only one criticism - you need to straighten out your legs on your aerial.

But I understand that you were doing it inside, on carpet ect ect. Soo, you're forgiven!

It is extremely important for your knee to be behind your ankle while you take off for an aerial from the step/running setup otherwise you lose lots of potential height.

Also in my opinion your aerial is too poor to be using as an example.

I don't want to come across as too negative but you shouldn't really be making tutorials until you have pretty much mastered the moves.

my aerials are looking a bit WAY to much like a b-kick

(im am trying standing aerials - almost b-kick setup- but it looks like a low and lame b-kick)

LoL I agree. I was trying to cram too much info in, and I probably missed other good points.

My example was poor, I'm aware:tongue: But I kicked the ceiling and it forced me to bend my leg.

My aerial in any more "open" areas are what I consider "Mastered". Just I guess that's in the eye of the beholder.

I'll film my actual aerial if you want

Don't get me wrong a lot of your advice was very useful, especially to people who do not know the move.

Yeah I'd like to see this mastered aerial :ogre:

I will contest this statement.

haha, it is basic blocking theory. Note that I made my statement setup specific.

Yes, I noted that haha.

Oh well, I never run into Aerials anyways, cheating I say! I always take one/two steps or just do it from standing.

The only real way to block an Aerial is from a pretty speedy run anyways, cause if you bend your leg down you're killing the block, KILL! It's dead! How could you kill the block? R.I.P. Block.

Pretty average tutorial. I didn't like how you said if you can't do a cartwheel then you should quit tricking. Every beginner starts somewhere and learning the cartwheel as a first move is pretty common. Only little girls can naturally do cartwheels lol.

Then your probably have more elements of a gymnast aerial in it than you think.

Pwning cheer girls on flexibility/form ftw

lol i guess so...i do my aerial with a b-twist set-up...but other than that i guess ur right...it looks like an ordinary one.

tho for some reason i cant do it without the "trickster" set-up(at least not as well)

Start thinking about a part in the aerial (like throwing your elbow to the sky) when you do your trickster set up.

Work that one part untill it's near perfection on momentum. Then move on to your leg driving up etc.

Its funny how easy this move is once you get it, the first time I heard that its possible to do a no handed cartwheel I was in awe, its funny how its now just a basic move in a tricker's arsenal

Cool tutorial

p.s
This move offered huge amounts of fun, when done off height!

haha i get wat ur sayin, but maybe i worded what i said earlier wrong.

i can do it ok without the b-twist set-up, and i can do it from standing just fine...but from the hop step thing that most people do...just feels awkward to me

I guess that the main torquers(?) in runing aerial are legs (i can do one almost with my hands in pockets) , but i'm not really sure wich are main in standing aerial legs or hands?

It just takes time to get used to man. If you can do it standing then your set
