This is a lil vid I did after having too much coffee. After I finished the vid I started cleaning my bathroom.... ANYWAY. This is mostly meant for noobies... don't expect it to be advanced or even.... cool. I editted it for maximum gay-factor

Okay... another one. Cork is next... as soon as my muscle recover.... or something. Maybe at PLN. Again: Nothing super advanced...

hahaha, that was highly entertaining, although I didn't really learn anything, I'm sure someone else will; and fuck, you are so right about the drilling thing lol, most the time forum advice doesn't even help, you know what you gotta do.

btw nice spin, you always impress me with your spinning.

Yeah... as stated. Meant for noobies. MAJOR noobies. The ones that don't know the mechanics yet.

I'm starting tricking in like, a week and a bit, so you can count me as a mega noobie :] I'm quite aware of all the moves and techniques and what not, but this personally helped me understand some issues of torque that I never fully understood before. I knew all about wrapping and torque, but I think being told it again kinda logged it into my brain properly haha.

This was awesome. Hahah "dead carcass in the air". But yea, a very good and informative tutorial. I highly recommend it!
The intro/exit was awesome. I especially liked the little lines you drew in the moments from dig > jump > wrap, those are always great tools.

Good job.

Here's a question erufukami: How do you visualize the twist of your btwists + variations.

Here's a question erufukami: How do you visualize the twist of your btwists + variations.

Are we talking during the twisting? Or where to throw the momentum BEFORE the twisting? Am I making a tutorial on btwisting and corking next or something?

mchitti
Mar-03-08, 03:17 AM
hmm that would be helpful.

Hmmm, let's say both lol. Or just like, during the twisting, how do you think of doing the twist, if any way at all.

I don't need a whole nother tutorial lol, I'm just curious about this one thing.

EDIT: Or a better question would be, where do you personally looking before, during, and after the twist of the btwist. Actually the "after" is sorta redundant but you get the idea haha. Or you could say where you're trying to look towards as opposed to what you're actually looking at.

erufukami
Mar-03-08, 11:31 AM
I look at the floor. ALWAYS. Unless I'm going to kick something. As far as when I'm doing a btwist... I just pop a hard bkick up to the point where my foot leaves the floor. Then I apply the steps of torquing and wrapping. Then I just time it for 720. I can't see a god damned thing when I'm spinning that fast. So I just learned the timing from drilling. Drill drill, drill drill.

Duke_Hoff
Mar-03-08, 03:29 PM
HAHAHA man, DRILL. I like how you got that point across.

ERUFUKAMI IS RIGHT EVERYONE. SOMETIMES you need to fix it on your own.drill.on your own.drill.

those tutorials are the most helpful things on this site for total noobs. if you cant do a trick theres no harm in getting used to spinning, it always helps in the long run. it helped me get my 540 very quickly, as soon as i saw the spinning video i realized that i need to spin faster, so i did and noobischly i pulled off the 540, and now i'm on to aerials, raizs gainers u name it. great tutorials. a must for all.

perhaps in the next tutorial emphasize spotting. alot of noobs think spotting targets means seeing it and staring it down. really its just glancing and then continuing to look in the direction of the spin.
i cant count how many times i've had to explain that, but yea, thanks again.

Jul-16-08, 01:36 PM
you kinda say your opinion is the only right one and the people commenting this was for noobs - wtf? Some people are actually able to the shit without really know the mechanics

HAHAHA, that's fucking awesome!

I'm thinking c720 twist next... but maybe cork. It's been too long since I did a tutorial. Cork is complicated to explain... but c720 is more difficult.... ehhhhhh

BrandonLenz
Jul-17-08, 08:13 AM
really? a c720 is more difficult of a trick than a cork? wow never knew that.
well i say go for both, even if you only did one, i'm sure it would be amazing.

ninjitsian
Apr-03-09, 11:36 PM
so what do you do to combat it tivo?

Angel Castellano
Apr-04-09, 01:15 AM
i do the same and i dont think it's bad. it looks better is you finish with roundkick or doubleleg.

if you want to change that.. go for doubletwist, your body will go straigh.
