View Full Version : Slow digestive foods?
Can any of you suggest any good slow digestive foods for me?
I am on a fast and i would eat before sunrise and after sunset so i was just wondering if you know of any good foods that digest slowly.

- Meat with plenty of fat (try to get good grass-fed cuts if you can)
- Nuts
- Fibrous fruits, berries, and vegetables
- Your mom
Low GI-foods are preferable. Meats are slow digestives in general.
I reckon in the long run, you won't really feel a huge difference since you'll be going quite a long time without food. Eat moderate amounts, bigger amounts will make you more hungry in the long run (expanded gut).
I thought Ramadan had ended already? Is it already time for another run?
I am not Muslim, I'm Bahá'í
They are different things.
Just slap on a few nicotine patches.
Actually just forsake your idiot religion.

How long will this way of eating last?

Nineteen days.
Adult Bahá'ís in good health observe a nineteen-day sunrise-to-sunset fast each year from March 2 through March 20.
Source: Wikipedia, Bahá'í faith.
So, it's a Persian religion. I wondered what it was, never heard of it before to be honest and still I've met persians and have persians in my class.
Well it's not a very well known religion it's still growing i would expect only a hand full of people on TT actually know about the Bahá'i faith.

Chew your food really badly, swallow big pieces of the meat or whatever. That will slow down digestion a lot, I bet.
I don't really want to kill my self during the process.

Quite ironic considering you're fasting.
Lobo is indeed correct on both counts.

just don't be a pussy and fucking fast. Looking for ways to make it gay-easy for you kind of defeats whatever purpose its meant to serve.

Why do so many religions insist on fasting? I'm actually curious about this.
This may explain things for you:

Well religious practices are inherently retarded, so there's no real need to ask.

Spirituality I reckon.

Why do so many religions insist on fasting? I'm actually curious about this.Probably to develope appreciation for food, spiritual fortitude, compassion for those who are without food often, to show one's devotion, that kind of idea.

"But spiritual, ideal fasting is this, that man abstain from selfish passions, from negligence and from satanic animal traits."
Those damned animals should know better than to defy God!

I remember there was this documentary movie which mentioned a guy who died of gay horse bestiality.

Ashtar, has anyone ever told you what a great guy you are?

Yes, but it was a negative kind of 'great' like 'you are secretly motivating rapists and ruining future generations' kind of great.

Zoo. We went to the cinema and saw it. It was totally pointless, but it was fun.
... mainly because we fooled a drunk buddy into thinking that "it was an epic adventure-flick about a dude who gets into a forest and finds a legendary horse. Then they walk around questing."
He got confused, hahah. At the end, he actually turned around towards the audience (he was in the front row) and went "WTFFFFF???", arms stretched out:D

I haven't actually seen it, just heard reviews. It really is tragic about that guy, in the same way it'd be tragic if a woman died having sex with a gorilla she fell in love/lust with, but people hate homosexuals so that's why they mock it. The guy had a sound occupation as an engineer didn't he? It is a loss to the world.
