Useful or a waste of money? I just saw this, and I know it is just 1 study, but it still got me thinking maybe it would be worth a try.

It can be both useful and a waste of money. It would be a relative waste if you were using CoQ10 before more important cheaper dietary (or otherwise) protective factors were in place.
It has antioxidant effects, a lot of things do, you can collect em all, and constantly sice they leave your bloodstream for unknown reasons.

it doesn't enhance performane nor does it make you live forever. worthless. so basically it doesn't work opposed to roids or resveratrol ;.)

Unless you have hypertension or alzheimer's disease you don't need it! Plus it's so expensive because of the damn Chinese!!!!!!!!

Anything that decreases damage (antioxidants) does increase future performance indirectly by preventing free radical damage which decreases it.
Roids or resveratrol even in combination do not make you live forever either. Roids actually have nothing to do with increasing lifespan that I've seen, just making you strong and full of energy and sex which might just age you faster who knows. People seem to be okay with it since they enjoy their time more, I wouldn't.
Resveratrol and CoQ10 are both helpful in different ways.
Unless you have hypertension or alzheimer's disease you don't need it! Plus it's so expensive because of the damn Chinese!!!!!!!!What's it got to do with hypertension? It might be too expensive however why Chinese? I am not familiar with its source, are they inflating the production/sales costs so that we will buy their tai chi and chai tea instead?

enhance performance (1st thing mentioned) -> roids (1st thing in the next sentence)
resveratrol (2nd thing mentioned) -> enhance longevity (2nd thing in the next sentence) [it's the most promising agent when it comes to increasing MLS].
I mentioned both because they seem to really do what CoQ10 is *supposed* to do. I read a summary about ergogenic aids by a well-known Austrian doctor who mentioned that C10 does squat. our body produces as much of CoQ10 as it needs by itself.
And as far as I'm concerned any better combination of antioxidants will do (green tea+healthylifestyle&food+some super cheap supps) you don't need expensive enzymes or anything..

Austrian doctor can be right, but not in all situations. You would need to have the proper precursors that the body uses to make CoQ10, and some people might have diseases that prevent adequate formation of it. This is why people supplement things sometimes. It's the same reason some people like to get DHA in fish oils even though the body can make it from base Omega3s, just in case the body fails it and can't make ideal amounts.
I agree covering the basics will do for most people, and should be a base approach for anyone with these conditions. The enzyme stuff is largely BS oversold overhyped stuff too.

Well since the only good CoQ10 comes from the oriental lands, they over change the production of it.

coq10 is gay and overpriced
if your diet is good and you take your fish oil you can forget about 99.9% of the bullshit supplements out there
