Keep your chest upright and don't chamber the kicks so damn early. Practice just getting the spin and switching legs at the end. Once you can make the spin and swap the leg out, add a chamber and eventually a kick.
I'm sure others can give more specific help, but those seemed the most obvious to me

ok you are treating the kick the completely wrong way, just practice rotating while chambering your knees, you have to learn to twist tightly around for the spin, forget the kick for now and learn to just twist hard, i don't have a specific one but i am doing one here at .15 if that helps, just learn to set and rap that shit then the kick will come eventually

HAHAHA YEA! i used to do sooo that exact thing! just keep your chest straight. See, the hard part is when your learning ch7's, you think about leaning back (you shouldn't but a lot of people do haha) in order to get that kick out.

so again, in c.7's youre like if i lay back my 540 kick and don't kick it, then hook with the next foot i've got ch 7s...

This works! but Not for ch. 9s! 9's shouldn't lean at all if you want to hava prayer of not doing that exact crash!

SOOOO, keep your chest upright, look over your shoulder while trying to stay vertical, and watch scalco's tutorials on the move.

then? enjoi

Yeah chest upright and straight will allow you throw the kick above your waist and land. I had this happen on my 540's so it looked more like a sideswipe.

I'd say you should...I find laydown c720 kicks much more "lethal" then upright ones...just see scalco...but that's just my personal opinion rly :eh:

Edit: but in c900 it's a no no though haha

Take off as you would in a c7/540 [perhaps a vid of these will confirm if you should however]. Right now you are cheating a bit too much also which you should probably correct now [if you want to/if you care about performing the move 'correctly otherwise it's not a problem].

yeah...can you do a c720 kick...if so, post it up...you should be able to do it before attempting c900s

Someone massively needs to thoroughly read my C9 tutorial ahaha.

At least...once my website starts working haha. The link to it is here (http://www.justtheskills.com/index.php?act=show_guide&v_id=24), but it might not work when you click it. If it doesn't just try again later.

But yea, when I very first tried to randomly attempt these, I was doing close to the same thing you're doing. However, you need to stay upright, and differentiate between your spin coming off the ground and when you spin around in the air. Those are the two basic problems, the tutorial explains them in greater detail as well as other tips and tricks and all that.

You just look like your spinning in the air, is it supposed to look like that? lol
