View Full Version : Stupid ankle...

so my ankle has been kinda messed up.
When I do any kind of trick or move that requires a great strain on my right ankle(the toes moving towards the shin), it hurts immensely. the area where it hurts(between the tendons and the protruding bone on the right of the ankle) has formed a hard mass. This has been there for several months now.
Anyone with ideas on how to make it go away?

Go to a specialist and get a x-ray etc etc.

When I was first learning how to do a back tuck I used to not flex my ankles when I landed, and since I was landing crappy it would push my foot toward my shin in a way that damaged whatever is in there. It felt sort of like what you described and ended up not going away (the constant pain that is) till I stopped doing back tucks for a couple months.
It still hurts if it comes too far up and isn't flexed (using stairs, tucking, whatever pushes it up).

Yeah, it's a real bitch tricking or breaking. Especially when trying to do swipes or just about any kind of low rock. ESPECIALLY when combined with the calcium deposit on my left knee that regrew after arthoscopic surgery -_-'

it could be a build up of scar tissue. u mite need a physio or someone to massage it out...
Get your ass to a goddamn doctor, do not bother writing here about it until you've done that.

Doctor, definitely. After that a physio is your best bet.
