reaching up with your chest is not jumping back

you jump up tuck your legs and that flips you over

arching back is different than throwing yourself backwards. if you notice, his head is still facing forward, not cocked back. ill bet you anything that he landed that backflip in almost the same spot he jumped

yepp, when you are up in the air you can lean back so much that you will see your ass, but you still wont be jumping back ^_^

You guys should give him a break. It's mostly semantics as to what qualifies as 'jumping back' at least in laymans terms. Most people looking at that picture would say that it's jumping back. Jumping up implies that your bodies is in a straight line going straight up. If you didn't tuck after arching your back like that, you'd fall backwards on your ass. I'm sure that it's not the tricking purist viewpoint, but damn, just nicely explain to the guy why it doesn't really qualify as jumping back and educate instead of berate.
