So I've decided to learn the Moonkick/Slant Gainer. These are my first couple attempts. I had no air awareness at all, it was so confusing.

Based on The Tricking Bible, it says there are no pre-req's for Slant Gainers, but if you guys think there is a trick that can be a pre'req for Slant Gainer, it'd be nice if you could tell me .

And yeah, if you've read my previous thread like a few weeks ago, I said that I had a Taekwondo demonstration in which I was to perform a Jackknife.

However....I'm still having a ton of difficulties with c7 so major tips for this move would be awesome.

I don't lean back as much as I used to, but my kick is still low and sloppy. I don't know what the problem is, my flexibility is pretty good, I can crescent kick over my head without warm-up. The only problem I can find is that I'm not looking at the target twice during my execution....

Thanks guys!

here's the breakdown:

First of all you should probably just learn a regular backflip and/or gainer before you get your slant on, it would be a wise course of action but not a necessary one. but if you want to keep doing what you're doing just throw your arms up and kick hard, and try to go up instead of looking for the ground the second you leave it.

for teh seev3nz:

The first thing you want to do is throw everything up(arms, knees, shoulders, etc) then get your target in view and pump the f\_/ck over. Pull your arms around to your left shoulder and pull your other knee up and across. You do TKD so you should be familiar with good martial posture while kicking. you need it in the air too. Keep your body upright and never look down. During your c7 you should go up, gain view of the target, and as soon as you lose sight of it whip your head around so you can see it again, then chamber and destroy.

Wow, took your advice about pumping, I kicked so much more higher lol. But then I leaned back too much and fell.

Youre c720 are good, but try to make them more rigid and get more felxibility, it will help.
