I had aerial 540 and d leg clean about a week after I started because of martial arts experience. As for b twist I still don't have it down clean yet :/

I only have two from your list after about one and a half years. But my training is woefully inconsistent. Train well and you'll get them soon enough.

I've been tricking since the minute I was out of the womb. I 360 crescent'd the doctor in the face. 17 years later, I can only do one trick more than that one.

I still can't do the backflip haha. In the doubleleg, something mental is preventing me from doing it :agony:

Going by that list? I haven't. It's been 5.5 years and I still can't doubleleg haha (not that I ever worked on it much to begin with). Everything else though yes.

They're all basics, except the doubleleg, that's in my opinion a pretty advanced trick. 360 is a basic though.

No, not necessarily. Not everyone has the same experience learning moves as you can see. Some people find certain moves to be particularly easy to learn while others will find the same move very hard. In comparison to all the other tricks out there you've listed some of the basics, yes.
"Basic" does not always go hand in hand with "easy"
About 3 months, with out the aerial. Still cant do it.

I think b-twist should be replaced with it's perquisites because it's so damn hard to learn. Gainer should be added to the list though.

lol actualy out of the basics the b-twist is the one i am closer to learn i guess is the less extremely dificult out of the "basics" =P.

It all depends on the person tbh but the majority says b- twist. I personally find d leg and 540 the easiest and aerial once you land it for the first time.

I don't think that a b-twist is hard haha . I think it's quite easy. Hard to maintain and keep clean though. And doublelegs are haard for me for some reason. I can do them OVER stuff, but not just without anything. Aerials are hard for me too.

first trick I learned was a backflip (I could do them on the trampoline for 2 years though), I landed it first try. but I can't land a single other thing on that list. Working on btwists an aerials mostly.:eh:
After7 month, I have these tricks + a few others

To anybody that thinks this or that should be considering a "basic" and spouting off what you think is easier or not: That is YOU. Don't try to speak for the whole community. Everyone is different so none of "that shouldn't be a basic but this should" bullcrap.

They're all basics indeed, just the basics are harddd haha.
I learned 540s in like 2 days, I'm nowhere near b twists with the set up (my feet miss the ground and I die) but I've almost got standing b twists. I tried aerials recently and I'm closer to standing ones than running ones but I die on both anyway. Double legs are just blah I haven't tried one since like 2 years ago when I done freerunning lulz. Backflips I can do, I just have a super overpowering mental block over doing them =\

the b-twist is an on going struggle, i'll never get it perfect

540 kick took like... umm maybe 5 months or something. Aerial was down after about 3-4 weeks of trying, btwists took nearly 8 months to land for a first time (now 10 months later they're nearly perfected imo though). I still can't backflip. Doubleleg I was able to pull off first time I was out tricking but it still isn't a very delicate doubleleg.
The slow progress might be because of a combination of finnish climate (7-8 months of the year it's inhuman to trick outdoors, and with no local gym... well yeah) and the fact that I wasn't very conditioned when I started tricking. Still I don't like the explaining, I'll just stick to the theory that some progress faster than others.
So you noobs shouldn't be complainin' when you can't land that 540 kick or sumthin during your first 2 months of tricking :juji:

Well I cant' do an aerial or a double leg... and I've trying to do an aerial for more than 10 months...(was the first trick I tried).
Backflip maybe one or 2 months...
540...well, when I tried it, I could only do a tornado. But when I saw Emig's tut from Bilang I get the technique soon.
Then I just drilled them.
You shouldn't be worried about that... take your time. Some people learn everything really quickly because are more prepared (flexibility, power, coordination, fearless...) than others.

About 2 months.
Tricking isn't a video game; it doesn't take a set amount of time to learn moves. You have to think of them in where you actually are in progress, as time is nothing.

it's all about how hard you train, and grasping the correct technique.
basics are foundational moves, so landing basics and having them perfect are sorta like two different things.

Idk what the fuss is about a Dleg, start with a Dleg kick-Do a "360 kick" and then do the round kick version "pop 540 kick" and then do a pop parafuso then just connect the two, then if you want to do the flip version dip while your doing it. not to too my horn but i learned Dleg in a day and thats how i did it, so maybe it will help someone out there.
