is this landing mat worth the price.....and do you guys think that eight inches is enough from protecting the skull from a hard fall? (backflip, front flip, etc.)

Don't bother.
Don't bother.
True that.
Seriously, I was going to buy one then I realized that it'd just be so gay.

i got one for free like 2 years ago
and to be honest:
i never really practice on it, and i'm probably gonna sell it.
it isn't level with the ground so you actually have to jump higher.
you either have to dig it in or something or do tricks from a higher object onto the mat.
i have plenty of space for it but the whole fuss of leveling it with the ground just isn't worth it imo. i mean if you dig it in you have to find solutions for the weather etc.
i'd rather trick on grass.
No, definately not worth the price. For that price you can buy lots of high quality puzzle mats to fill a large area!

That's too expensive and too thick to be worth it.

Injuries build character.
...and scar tissue.
But really, if you train in a more unforgiving environment, you'll be forced to learn faster of you'll die. Lol.

I'd rather try things on grass than onto mats..
i bought a mat for cheap and i dont really use it much
i just use it when im learing/practicing tumbling or techniques for karate
especially at almost $400 thats a bit ridiculous

If you really want a mat, get a sting mat.
ORRR one of those folding karate mats.
If i could find a cheap crash mat i would actually buy one to be honest. it would come in handy for sure.
Alternatively, you could just buy a 15' round trampoline. They would also come in handy, but allot more fun.

Thats what happens with me haha. Except I do it in a gym. It takes like 20 mins to set up crash mats and stuff do that their level with the ground. :dead:
