At first I was like "Racist much..." but then I looked where you lived and it said "Tejas", so I guess it's okay to call them China-men and depict them as clueless when it comes to cattle ranching.
A lot of people trick in the dark, though. You just need enough light to see where the hell everything is.

Hey everybody starts somewhere. It took me a couple of years of on and off training just to get an aerial. Everybody learns and does tricks at their own pace.

i hope you mean a few years conditioning and a few months doing the aerial. otherwise i got some work to do.

I didn't know about conditioning back then. I just knew that you needed a fast cartwheel and the time to practise lol.

In my opinion, aerial is the hardest basic trick to learn. It sounds pretty simple, a cartwheel without hands. But it requires good technique and decent flexbility.
Some of the easier basic tricks can take as short as a week to learn, while some of the harder ones, like the aerial, can actually take a year for some people.
Personally, when learning aerials, I practiced like 3 times a week, 15 minutes each session drilling them, and I got them in like 3 months.

Actually, an aerial is probably one of the easiest. Double-legs are the !@#$%wtf moves.

The difficulty of a trick really depends on the specific person. Drill the basics and allow your tricks to improve and evolve naturally.
I also believe you should learn a trick from a run-up on the ground before you do from a raised surface. It replaces airtime with necessary technique.

I agree with you, aerials took me a few sessions, and flexibility isn't needed atall...
Double legs took me a while, they are the hardest basic to do well.
