If you put a ball under your chin and forced yourself not to let go, would that help you jump up straighter for backflips or will it lead to you killing yourself?

I hope you die trying this.

Don't worry I won't try it. I've got 3 months of waiting for someone else to try before I can go back to tricking.

Hahahahaha! I just got a mental image of this.
Where did you hear about this? it sounds stupid.
i tried doing this with a bottle under my chin it was some hella dumb decision. tim saw it.
i also tried to do a round off up a wall the other day which was a fucking stupid idea aswell.
One time at footy training my friends dad was teaching us tackling drills/etc. and we did this one where we all had to hold plastic balls and tackle each other. Good times, good times.
Anyway, I say everyone should record themselves trying this and post it.

What was the purpose of this?
Why did you have to hold a plastic bottle and get tackled?
No hold plastic balls, like the balls in kids play pits with balls in them... whatever. anyway it was so we wouldn't just grab and actually use our shoulders to tackle, it was pretty clever really :)

That would be an utterly terrible idea.

I could try it with a glass bottle perhaps. It was just a stupid idea on different ways to prevent yourself from arching your neck.

This is only good for a standing back tuck. You need neck mobility to execute a good roundoff bhs.
This also will only work if you know how to properly set your arms. It will train a perfect, controlled back tuck. If you don't know what you're doing, you'll probably land on your head.
