Has anyone done this, mixed in some bisquick with their protein for a post-workout shake? Seems like a simple way to put some carbs and sodium into the skake if you have some mix lying around.

I personally have a shitload of pancake mix and I don't think I will be making any pancakes, so I would like to find a use for it.

If anyone has tried this, how does it taste? Delicious? Chalky?

Let me know

Doesn't it run the risk of making the shake incredibly thick? To be honest I've never even seen pancake mix around here, we make our own

yea, in America everything comes premade because we are lazy bastards. you have brought up a valid point.

Perhaps the shake will not thicken as much if water is used as the liquid base.

I have no idea how it tastes, are you sure it is easily soluble in water?

I'd imagine that it would taste like flavored pancake batter, so long as it gets mixed in and doesn't develop dry pockets.

That's gonna taste so awesome, let me know how it goes Baron. I could imagine Pancake Mix with a small amount like a tablespoon of vanilla protein powder mixed in would make it taste oipwbobuobfoubsf

Yumyum

I'm thinking I will start off with two scoops protein, one scoop pancake mix, and see how it goes. This will be tomorrow.

The protein I have is chocolate flavor.

I have made protein pancakes before but that is different.

Is this just a way to use up bisquick? You could just as easily toss flour and salt into your drink, that's basically all bisquick is +baking powder

Yea, pretty much. I don't want this bisquick to go to waste.

Bisquick is probably the most unhealthy pancake mix ever.

it was not that thick with water, I just did not enjoy swallowing it.

I just broke my PR for bent press whilst still being ill, 108 pounds, booya. Time for some protein, without the bisquick
