Hey guys, I've got something for you.
I've never used supplements before, until mother brought some from job. She's a nurse at dialysis "department" and they were provided with some drinks for their pacients, obviously a protein shakes with lots of calories and other goodies.
Since I don't know much about this stuff, I'd like you to tell me if it's ok to gobble down one once in a while.

One thing is sure. They taste good !
MRP, don't confuse them with protein shakes because that amount is really not that high. I reckon it is an easy way to get nutrients to a patient that has problems chewing and/or swallowing.

MRP ?
And it's for people with kidney malfunctions and similiar problems.
Guess I'll just have another steak before bed, instead of this.

I would avoid them personally, but that's because I can't even pronounce half of the ingredient list.

how to explain how bad they taste to patients haha
the lime ones are the worst
working in hospitals is basically awesome though

Sounds pretty cool. Your job that is, not the lime flavoured milk drink.
I've only really stayed in hospital a couple of times, but I quite enjoyed the food there. Maybe that's because I had to fast for 24hours prior to eating though.
If I worked in a hospital I would raid the food trolleys/kitchen all day.

the mrps they feed hospital patients are absolute garbage from a nutritional standpoint
then again most hospitals and med schools are espousing "scientific" nutritional information from the mid 1950s so its not that surprising
