I recently injured my left oblique. I think that's what it's called anyways. The ab muscles to the sides of the normal abs? They be long? Anyways, I think its just torn a little, or maybe pulled, but I need to be tricking (for a performance) by the beginning of next week, is there any way to expedite the healing process other than keeping myself from using it?

hah good luck..and i mean that very seriously. rest as much as you can..eat alot of healthy food rich in protein and vitamins...and lastly, pray that you have wolverine-like healing capabilities. (:
**edit*
just to be clear..when i say rest as much as you can. i mean dont trick at all..no strenuous activity.
things you can do:
-walk to the kitchen and prepare a healthy meal
-sleep and watch t.v.
things you cant do:
-everything else
of course thats exaggerated..but you get the point. this isnt going to heal you in time, but HOPEFULLY it will allow you to pull like..3 or 4 decent tricks before you die completely. hope thats enough for your performance. good luck man!

Actually I disagree. Do this: http://strengthmill.net/forum/showthread.php?t=700 with an exercise that targets the area.
