My goal is tricking performance : vertical, explosiveness. Overall physique : welcome but not important.
My exercises for the past 9 months :
-front squat, back squat, deadlift, calf raise
-dips, pullups/chinups, that thing in dip position when you raise your legs straight
Snatch/Clean jerk, dumbbell swings, 1h dumbbell snatches : do you think they are going to help me ?
I want to be like Frank Yang  (I mean in vertical)
You need a coach to teach you proper technique if you're going to attempt olympic lifts. Not only for safety (which is the prime reason) but for proper technique development and form.

Sorry, I edited my post to disambiguate it. The reason for this thread is : Snatch/Clean jerk, dumbbell swings, 1h dumbbell snatches : do you think they are going to help me ?

I've trained OL for almost a year now and my technique isn't perfect yet. My answer is the same as Raph.

Frank Yang does some crazy stuff, not just olympic lifting.
Snatch/Clean will help you develop power if you don't have it but the lifts are ultimately hindered by your max strength lifts.
What is your max full back squat?

must be around 100 pounds
100 pounds is not that much mate and I don't think you have proper technique down if you're swirving around on those weights. I could be wrong of course.

Damn I really need a coach for power cleans and snatches. Nobody else in my school knows a thing about powerlifting or olympic lifts.

Well chances are you are right because I am self taught on weightlifting, just by experimenting and reading a lot about it.
Thanks for the tips.
