theres no point in taking supplements until your diet and training are in order, you will just be throwing your money away.

stefano,

Even if you consumed whey regularly, you are not going to wake up one morning only to find you've become "rly big". If I were you, I'd take time to learn basic principles regarding training, diet, and supplementation.

You wont get big just by taking protein, you need to work if you want to get bigger.

Just learn the basics of nutritional values before you even think about whey.. I'm sure you get everything u need with natural food.

You get bigger by eating more food, with or without training.

if you want to get bigger just eat a lot and work out a lot, throw caution to the wind, gain some fat and a lot of muscle. ultimately, for the calories, milk and eggs are a better value. and 5 dollar pizzas.

losing fat is easy, gaining muscle is hard, might as well go all out

Haha the only other account I have is WushuTricks :bandit:. And why do people care about getting big? You can learn tricks with just about any body type with dedication and practise.

if you stopped growning then you can start to take supplements but if not i would suggest just sticking to the basic weights (even learning the proper way to lift), and don't try to max out unless you have a trainer with you. you can actually do damage to your growth plates if you lift the wrong way at the wrong time.

regarding this quote nimbus is right. if you don't workout your not going to gain muscle. the supplements just turn into fat through chemical changes. with regards to your fear of getting to be muscle monster different workouts bring different results. such as, reps vs maxing out. if your highschool has a weight lifting coach... ask him or go to the local gym and ask what is the right workout schedual for your body style.

You just said you didn't want to put muscle on quite casually, almost as if you could have it at the click of a finger.

It takes years of dedicated training to gain that kind of muscle mass. Taking whey protein for a prolonged time holds no significant difference over eating the same amount of protein in meat/eggs/bulgur/beans/lents/milk/hearts/paper/rock/scissor. You get the idea.

If you are not taking steroids or growth hormone then you have nothing to worry about.

Little miss muffet sat on a tuffet, eating her curds and WHEY, if little miss muffet can eat it, so can you.

No, supplements can be taken anytime, it's not like you can only digest protein when you stop growing or we'd all be fucked. Also weights don't stunt growth.

I did some research and Caveman is right. it won't stunt your growth. Good call Caveman.

Basically as far as i understand it, it's always better to get your proteins from 'real food' as much as possible. Whey is simply something people use when they need large amounts of protein each day but basically don't have the time to prepare 6 full protein-rich meals a day.

Depends entirely on your goals and how your nutritional day looks like. I prefer not to drink whey other than around training. My breakfast is just oatmeal with milk and a sandwich with abit of butter, turkey and cheese. Smack a fruit in there and my breakfast is pretty damn optimal :juji:

My exact same breakfast except wheaties instead of oatmeal, Just not really a big fan of it but get good fiber from wheaties.
