How are Burpees and Jumping rope as a cardio exercise, compared to just regular running/walking? I'm just curious, for variety purposes, since running can get boring in the long run lol (pun intended)
I think jump rope is a lot better than running, i think it works you a lot more and it is fun because you can do different kinds of speeds, try get two swings in one jump try and do that cross over thing.
I am not too sure about the Burpees as i have never done them before.

I would do either of them before I did traditional 'cardio'.
Jump rope is more coordination than actual physical endurance I reckon. It also helps you keep light on your feet. Burpees are basically compound endurance movements.

Running through foresty areas around rivers and places with obsticles like that is the best cardio.

Just did that few hours ago and came back muddy to ears, scratched, eaten by insects and with hair full of wildlife. I love it !
And yes, skipping rope is wonderful for warm-up.

I've actually only done it once but it was fun, and a good workout.

I do it everyday, except I usually run on country roads so I can control my heart-rate easier. But today...
