so, this morning i was forced to go to the gym. haha. and by forced, i mean it was a literal requirement that i go lift weights. i was pissed when i had to wake up, but now im pretty happy i went. here~ is what i did over the course of an hour. i had no idea what deltoid db rows and unilateral db rows were, so i just improvised.
deadlift (both hands knuckles out) 135lbs x10, 145lbs 5x7
deltoid db rows 3x12 with a 25lb db
hyperextensions 3x10 with a 35lb plate
unilateral db rows 1x12 with 25lb db's but my form sucked so then 3x12 with 15lb db's
deadlift (one hand in, one hand out) 135lbs 5x5
bulgarian split squats (or as close as i could get to how i remember them) 3x10 with 25lb db's
yes! that was it. i drank about 40oz of water and felt like i was going to throw up for almost the entire second half of the workout. my heartrate was 190ish right after the last set of bulgarian squats, and i felt all sorts of funny walking back to my room.
now, its time for shower and a breakfast to heal me.
also, for those of you who dont know, i havent lifted anything in six months, and before that ive lifted maybe five times in my entire life. :swashy:

Well, obviously my response in your other thread was too late (and wouldn't have helped much anyway).
Some good exercise selection! Prepare to be incredibly sore for the following week :)

You made the right choice choosing light deadlifts :good:. I made the mistake of doing 1x5 @ 215 lb deadlifts(I weight about 140-150 but I rarely measure my weight) when I still had my back injury and now it's taking longer to heal. And bulgarian split squats are one of my favorite exercises.
Chiming in on Compleks, nice selection of exercises and it seems like a proper load as well.

nice. i havent been to the gym in a few weeks or so, and i thought i would have gotten a little weaker, but i ended up hitting a new deadlift pr
did some dumb bell military pressing, dont remember how many sets but it was with 45s
deadlifts
135x5
225x5
250x3
275x1
300x1 i felt like i had a little more gas in the tank and could have gone a little heavier, but decided against it
then i did some lat cable pulldowns, dont remember how many sets either i wasnt really sore today, and im hoping it wont pile up on me tomorrow
LIFT MORE! ITS GOOD FOR THE SOUL

Am I the only one who thinks that 70 deadlifts is a bit too many? (10, 5x5, 5x7)

No. All he needed was five but we'll cut him some slack because he's musasabi and cool.

haha! you know. i didnt even realize that until just now. there was a bit of logic to it though, i swear. i talked with juji before i left this morning (inverted time zones are good for some things at least). i know my deadlifting form is shit, mainly because ive never done it before. when i do it with my real weights, i do it all with my back. i just cant manage to pull the proper technique off. anyway, juji said it was reasonable if i did low weight (no lower than 135 though, he said) and a buncha sets/reps.
now, right. i didnt realize i did 70 fucking lifts, haha. :paranoid: my lower back is so sore, its unbelievable. tight and weak. after sitting in a chair for more than five minutes, i have to take special care standing up. the cat stretch from yoga makes is an incredible mixture of pain and pleasure right now.
so i guess i did too many... but all the same, my lower back has to catch up with my legs in terms of power. my grip, too, needs to improve.
i'll keep this all in mind _next_ friday.
