I've noticed lately that I've found it hard to...not exercise. Its started getting to the point where I can't go to sleep at night if I haven't done some weights or running. I don't know if its my state of mind or endorphines or something else. Anyone else get this feeling?

This means you guys 'workout' like little girls because you are never exhausted.

Drinking milk is painful after presses, walking stairs is impossible after squats. So no, I don't know what you're talking about.

I usually aim for the feeling of fulfillment, not exhaustion. I set myself targets, but being exhausted is never one of them. If I exhaust myself I can't do it again efficiently the next day.
Maybe I need to rethink my workout.

I used to always have to exercise but it was because my workouts sucked.
I never train to failure but I am certainly tired or exhausted some days.

AIM FOR INTENSITY, NOT NECESSARILY EXHAUSTION
POST YOUR LIFTING ROUTINES

I don't think it's necessarily a sign of lackluster effort, it's more likely psychological. When I'm into my training I always look forward to the next session no matter how exhausted I am.

I use a multi-gym piece of equipment, so I don't quite know what the names of the lifting techniques i'm doing are. I'm also unsure of whether these multi-gym things work. It has an amount of weights on a steel cable, and everything else basically stems from that, whether it be pushing or pulling or lifting. As for what I do know-
I run 3km by treadmill each workout, 60 pressups, 100 situps, 10 handstand pressups (against wall), 20 pullups, then for the weights, I do 30 of some pushing thing, 30 of some thing using my legs to lift up a bar, 30 of something where I pull down on a bar. All of which I don't know the mass because they're unlabelled. I'd guess at about 60kg each.
...now that I look at it, thats damn ugly. If anyone wants to help me organise my frankenstein of a workout, I'd appreciate it. My main aim is for strength and fitness, I'm not so much interested in getting 'ripped', although that usually comes included.

Are you implying I have ADHD or that I need to take amphetamines?
Haha.

For strength you should be training with lower reps (under 5-10 reps). Which means you need to find more difficult exercises.

Alright. Just done my workout. I changed to lower reps, but with quite a bit more weight on. Feels awesome, stretching different muscles already.

Maybe I need to rethink my workout.
I went to the gym with my friend and his dad, pushed myself harder than ever, collapsed in a park walking home.
The next day my friend, his dad and i laughed about it, but i did the exact same workout, this time i make it through the park. But was still exhausted.
I kept that routine, and have now built on it.
Exhaustion helps you sleep for real. lol.
