Well, I was just wondering, what muscles are the most important while doing hook kicks. I been drilling them, but they sucks, and I thougth that probably i'm not training them properly. What parts should I train more (flexibility and power).
Thank you.
Dynamic flexibility is a must. Also for proper hook kicks good technique is needed.
Technique and flexibility, those are superior.

Main muscle in hook kick are/is the hamstring, Hooks don't require much flexibility just lean back more so in your kicks to get a higher kick. Are you doing turn around hook kicks our just standing hooks?

The first one.
Other problem I have (but I think it's because I can't perform a good wheel kick) is that I can't get enought momentum and I fell hard to link in a combo.

hook kicks are all in your hips

train the non-spinning hook kicks
slow kicks
kick targets
just keep drilling them
training the muscles involved in a hook kick won't necessarily make your hook kick any better, because it's more about coordination than anything. besides, if I started listing all the muscles involved in a hook kick, I'd end up with every major muscle group in the body.

Yeah this is the best way to go about it, and yeah wheeling kicks/spinning hooks are hips mainly but practicing the kick slowly will actually make it able to be a kick, most trickers wouldn't be able to do anything with that kick because they just use it as momentum to a combo but practicing this way will make the kick more dangerous and all around better looking.
