not really...you have to think of it in the way ultimate comics(marvel) and their movies effect the original characters...they dont.

the show has no bearing on the comic and vice versa its basically a parallel world version. and so i have no expectations when i think of it that way.

No, the show ruins the entire image of Superman that one may have, whether or not the universes have a bearing on each other.

They basically make Clark Kent a retarded kid with all kinds of drama, and try to cram every character from the Superman universe in there and make all these retarded plot lines and crap.
It's just like dang it I thought Superman was always a hero not this whiny little kid who's constantly complaining about problems having to do with everything useless.

You should've seen the latest episodes. Brainiac travels back in time to blow up Krypton and kill the entire Kryptonian civilization, but Jor-El tells Clark that he can't use a time portal they have to go back in time and fix it, because he might make it worse. What's worse than blowing up a planet and killing it's entire population?

And a previous episode: Clark phones Chloe to tell her to come to Smallville and read a Kryptonian message he can't read. She comes over from freaking Metropolis (despite him being able to run to her in literally 2 seconds), and Clark goes: "Read this Chloe!". Since the message is written in Kryptonian, Chloe can't read it, so she asks Clark to read it. Clark says he can't, but then she asks him to try. Clark goes "okay" and reads the message.

In other words: Clark had to call Chloe to get her to Smallville so she could tell him to try to read the message.

That also goes both ways: "Chloe, try to hack into the government FBI/NASA/something network to find info!" "But Clark, that is WAY over my head, it's too hard!" "Try Chloe!" "okay!" *hacks into the gov central computer thingie in literally 10 seconds*

And also, the entire thing with Brainiac going back in time 20 years to kill off Clark, and Chloe going "you have to stop him before he kills you as a baby!". Since Brainiac now exists 20 years prior to them in time, Clark would naturally be dead already (assuming he did anything).
