Weight will fluctuate.

Did you use the same scales? Same time of day?

There are plenty of factors which could contribute.

If i weigh my self in the moring i'm 150lbs if i weigh my self at night i'm 155lbs somtimes more.. thats one thing if your growing and in your teens and your doing some moderate strength training chances are you are increasing in size and gaining muscle aswell so...
5 lbs from time of day you weigh your self
5-10 lbs on how much you have drunk and eatin
5-10 lbs on the fact your growing and training
there you go 20lbs :)

Your body reabsorbing more water due to specific conditions in the body, but i'm not going to waste my time on a post so you can look up kidney filtration yourself.

Water rentention is exactly what it says. For various reasons your body is filled with more water than usually, making you temporarily gain weight.

Water Retention. Food in body. Time of Day. The elevation of which your scales at on the ground.
