if you think of a parafuso as 540 kick with both legs locked together, an envergado would be a sideswipe with both legs locked together....i think

it should look pretty much like an off axis brandy from a 540 setup
i don't know if an envergado hook would look thaaat good compared to say, a switchblade. considering not many people can even swipeknife properly it'll be hard to come across!

So...
Swipenife= sideswipe jacknife
Switchblade= Parafuso jacknife
and the envergadoknife=parafuso swipeknife
??
Technical names. Lol.

Hez, you have gotten soo much better =| I was shocked, you were always sick but now you are insane!
Haha don't be so down, me being able to land more than like 4 tricks isn't all bad!
I realised how much speed I need to gain tricking with you lot though haha, down in devon everyone just waltzes around and throws weak kicks occasionally.
Wait til I get my front splits after being banned at the end of July, then I'll catch you guys up ; )

CA can probably do it (like someone said before), he's just to good when it comes to doing a horizontal trick (like an envergado) and then throw an insanely flexible kick out of it. And I believe that when it comes to the 540-parafuso-envergado discussion that in tricking a parafuso is a 540 with both legs together and an envergado is a sideswipe with both legs together, but in capoeira a parafuso is a 540 and an envergado is a parafuso.
Let's not bring capoeira terms into this haha. Envergado in capoeira is the original name of the doubleleg.

I can do it , but with a mediocre kick, so in my book I can't do it.
Useless post :good:

That's the most common name, yes. But it was invented by Mestre Envergado from GCB as far as I know, hence the name to honor him.
