How can you guys get off work for a week or whatever so often to run away to a gathering? I just don't get how you guys survive / manage! Some one want to fill me in on the secret?

lol im a part timer....im always traveling to a tourny or bboy jam or gathering. my work knew whats up when i joined..they dont care haha. been there for about a year. u take 3 day blocks off and its fine. anything larger needs manager approval.

I can't go back in time or quit my job (well I could but then how could I AFFORD to run around every where? =P)! Right now I also work part time so I'm sure it'd be fine but what happens once I'm going to college? My college is picky about attendance. lol

let ur teacher know ahead of time u will be taking time off.

or just leave mad late on fridays. most gatherings are respectful of school times..that why we try to organize things during vacations and holidays. gatherings like big ones are very ever rarely during school time. the only time it gets iffy is because of hs spring break and college spring break.

but mini's are usually a weekend long so its not that big a deal to miss a day of school.
