im in need of a good stretch to work out whatever muscles are used to perform the inital "kick" into the corkscrew, just so i can lunge deeper and keep my leg straight throughout the whole cork.

Practice slant gainers until you have those with a strong kick.

best advice so far practice slant gainers and practice so you can slant over your own head then when you cork you will over rotate and be very happy like i was mwaaa hahahaha

although they are easy moves and very comfortable with limited stretching i'll help you out.
you see the motion your leg make when you throw it up? ya, ok now go to a wall and put your leg up like your doing a cork rest it on the wall as high as you can and try to kiss your knee.

See above.
Jesus.
That is all the advice you need.
Plus how hard is it to figure out what kind of kick you do into a cork...a front lift kick right? So just practice doing fast front lift stretch kicks.
I do think that dynamic flexibility is super important in tricking. I think hieght in tricks = 70% technique and 30% power / good dynamic flex.
