well show a video makes it easier for us but otherwise kick your leg over your shoulder not over your head if you can cork but really vert insted of horizontal then just kick sidewards more

FAIL FAIL FAAAIL!!! xD NEVER ever kick over your shoulder. You should kick towards your head, with a straight leg (slightly bent) and throw your arms as hard as you can over your head

Are your corks more like a gainerfull, or not horisontal enought (more like a oldschool cork?)

Because if your corks are like gainerfulls you should be REALLY happy. Because its easier to double/swing/combo with a gainerfull. They're so much more powerfull than regular corks

Give us a vid and we can help you more.

i disagree with one thing totte, for a beginner he should kick around and over his shoulder.. he's trying to get horizontal not aim for height..

Although gainer fulls may be easier, why would you learn gainer fulls if you want to learn how to cork?

Who says those aren't entirely unrelated?

Kicking forward/to the shoulder is sorta irrelevant to be honest...it's not going to make or break you, it's a little variable to be played around with.

In fact, many people will tell you "kick to their shoulder" and they think they're kicking to their shoulder, but their not ahah. Or some people will say "kick straight up", and they think they're doing that, but in reality they're also kicking to their shoulder or whatever. Sometimes people do or don't do stuff even when they don't realize they're doing or not doing it, or when they say they are or they aren't!

I love totte. Oh, and to get corks more horizontal, kick straight up and and keep your chest up and pull your hips up to your side.

yes. to get a horizontal cork, do all the things that invert / make it a gainer fucking full.

skilzat, haha, when you run, do a jstep (for example), kick around, follow through with your kick, it will make you horizontal, i even played around with this today / yesterday and that is it. when people kick straight, for myself i do this for height and to invert. but we're talking to someone who cant cork AT ALL, would you suggest telling the guy to go for a gainer full?

for a cork ( slanted gainer full twist ) you should apply the kicking around and over your shoulder method.

"soz im trying to learn bkick"

" go for an aerial :good: "

well i feel like i kick over my head to cork as i feel it gives me more hight to my cork but as a learner i learnt to kick over my shoulder. I didnt cork high but it made the rotation easier for me soo....

also skilzat your site rocks

Thanks for tips guys, Yea im doing like an old school cork, not g full... So im going more / instead of --------------, so i should kick over my shoulder hard and use my arms hard as well? And what should i do with my head? should i do the towel method and seek the ground fast?... Atm im not planning for huge height... im just planning to land this cork and play around with it until i feel fully comfortable and cofident so then i can move on to height and other methods and variations like swing thrus and box cutters...

the towel method haha, i sent the guy a video of me explaining how i double cork and one of the keypoints i made was to look over your shoulder and spot the ground.

and ya it helps
