hello
I have been trying to do this trick for ages now, it just isn't coming
how the hell do you spot where you are gonna kick? I just can't do it, and also, how the hell do you kick with out losing balance, btw, I don't lack flexibility to kick better than this, any help would be appreciated.
I don't think I have ever done a nice one, even by fluke :<
vid coming in a minute or two.
if anyone knows how to know when to kick please help me out!

Nice twisting. 2 options, try to think of it like 360 [with no kick] + gyro + kick. I assume you can do a nice 360 crescent.
if that doesn't work, try running/hopping into it with some momentum steps and apply the same thing. should help. good luck.

you're either spinning far too much (almost a 1080 in there) or not kicking well enough.
To be honest, its just down to practising and learning how to make the spin seem slower in your head, and that only comes with drilling.
Just drill jumping up, spinning the first 360, spotting your target then spinning and landing. Then build it up.

I feel a little silly, after trying this move for so long I just realised that when I try and kick my torso bends forward which throws my off balance a lot. Any way thanks for the advice, I guess I am gonna have to just try going a bit slower and just building up to it a bit more instead of going straight for it.
yeah for pops its all about practice. haha i was talking to mr. ip about this and he goes, "yeah...just drill" but i think that's his response to everything. lol.
anyway, when you spin do you turn your head directly behind you? 'cause sometimes, if you turn your head and looking down you start tilting and will get off balance and cant throw the kick. so turning your head directly behind you :good:
another thing is, when you kick and your bending over, just thinking about leaning back and that should cancel it. just work up from 360s and such. and keep drilling.
ok i have a question here....... if i spin exactly 360 degrees and then throw a kick which kinda still rotates does it coun't as 720 ? or i have to rotate 720 degrees and then throw kick?

I think people just go by how many times you see the target, basically on pop 720 you don't kick on the first time you spot the target while spinning, but rather the second time, 1080 having kick on the 3rd time you spot the target. Some people "cheat" (nothing to do with cheat tricks) the rotation quite a bit, sometimes by a whole 180 degrees, meaning they take off facing away from their target. I think it's called backside but don't quote me here.
eg: the last one I did in the vid would have been a pop 1080 if I had spun another 90 degrees and thrown a nice kick.

can this be considered 720 (if landed ofcourse)?

kad griezies skaties uz sānu, nevajag galvu atmest uz atpakaļu. tādeļ jau tu šitāds gaisā / un krīti pēc tam.
