you want flexibility in your legs, if you dont have that, go get it, dont try to trick without it please.

i dont know how to get it... i cant touch my toes unless im sitting in a figure 4 position and when i try to touch my toes i get this weird tingling sensation in my feet and it kinda hurts to stretch... how do i know if im getting a good stretch? people say a good stretch feels great or some crap but it seems to hurt for me. so how do i increase flexibility in my legs? i cant really get a v past 90 degrees (and if i do it hurts really bad) and as i said i cant touch my toes very well.

hiya blabla im helping this guy because im an ugly emo
"arrrrrr didums sorry little attention seeker, did i not give you enough hugs and kisses"
fucking grow up kid i flamed you because you asked stupid questions
this guy asked what other basic tricks to learn, but it was one question that was simple so i gave him a simple anwser.
you on the other hand were asking questions that you can only awnser yourself (asking what to do in a sideflip when you said you were doing them at a gym) if you can alreaady do them dont ask us how, submit a video and ask for critizism.
now i advise you to go learn your sideflips by yourself, you will learn

aalso shadow down metal you really want to learn some kicks so learn really basic kicks this will build up your dynamic flexabilty and it will natrually progress.
but you actually have to kick to progress at it, and come on all trickers want to be fucking skilled so dont limit yourself by not kicks, learn them dude if you get kicks it builds your tricking arsernal fast and most kicks dont have the fear factor so...
go and practice basic kicks and your dynmaic stretching :)

if you dont have a backround in martial arts of gymnastics then your waaaaaay set back, dont even start with basic tricks, learn kicks and then tricks, i took karate for 10 years before i started tricking, so your gonna need to allow yourself some serious time. dont expect to go anywhere anytime soon.

i know another name for tricking is extreme martial arts, but i dont think that necessarily means you need to know martial arts. i think in that one dudes conditioning tutorial (i forgot his name but i know he's well known) he talks about how his friend at the gym got tricks he was having trouble with because he was conditioned. i think ill get it eventually.
as for tricking... im really only doing it because i have to quit smoking and besides running theres no reason to go outside for me. and i need something fun to do when i want a cigarette. and everyone knows tricking is fun.
as for kicks, i tried learning them, but i feel like i look kinda retarded doing kicks, idk, maybe ill try to learn a few and post a video.
and the flexibility question on is it supposed to hurt when i stretch... can i get an answer to that please. thanks, you guys have been really helpful so far.

"i know another name for tricking is extreme martial arts, but i dont think that necessarily means you need to know martial arts."
If you do tricking without martial arts, it become gymnastics.
If you dont want to look retarded doing kicks, you should try joining a MA club, the one I used to go to had some REALLY low kickers so maybe they will give you confidence.
Or maybe you just don't hate yourself enough to try to get more flexibility.
if you dont have a backround in martial arts of gymnastics then your waaaaaay set back, dont even start with basic tricks, learn kicks and then tricks, i took karate for 10 years before i started tricking, so your gonna need to allow yourself some serious time. dont expect to go anywhere anytime soon.
Same story here, I decided to start tricking when I was 2, but I wanted to be prepared, so I started taking karate and taekwondo classes, I havent started tricking yet, but I'm sure I'll be ready in a few years!

well i think a simple answer to the martial arts stuff... im not willing to spend money on tricking or any of this stuff. im doing it for fun and i dont even have a job so im not gonna spend money i dont have on a hobby.

You can train kicks without taking classes. It's pretty easy to figure out from looking around online.

If you don`t want to kick, take up ironing and general housekeeping.
The more you practice kick tricks like 540s and 720s, the better your flexibility will get. Worked for me.
