I need serious help with B.twists. In the video I've got (very old) I can name multiple things wrong with my form and the execution which is good I guess so I can try to fix them. Please give any advice to help my form, to help me from balling up during the twist, and what to do with my arms because they just kinda flail around in the setup.

*Note I do know that I don't dip very much/any at all, I know that I ball up during the twist, and that I don't kick up my leg very much.

**Also can you give any tips to make my B.Kick better because Rudy tells me they look like flat gainers, I can post a video if needed.

you tried to embed before, just take the last part and put it in the youtube, just quote mine and put it in your box.

i'll watch now

tips: lets start with your set up, go to the main page and watch/read juji's b twist tutorial. apply everything he says work on it for a while, then come back if things arent getting any better.

this is a tricky move but once you get it and get it good , its fun easy and a breeze [well for me] to upgrade

Well it seems like you've got everything figured out yourself. Only thing I think you haven't covered is that you are twisting before you've left the ground. You need to jump first, then twist.

Since nearly everything in your form in that video is terrible, but you seem to know how to do it, I would recommend just watching as many btwist videos/tutorials as you can, and then comparing, side by side/ frame by frame, their technique, to yours.

Then before trying the btwist, go through each single motion slowly, making a conscious effort to do them correctly with your best effort.

I can't help with bkicks though, since I can't bkick.

It is Dave C. Tricks with Rudy, lives in Virginia, you can hear Cory in the background. Same gym that can be seen in Dave C's videos.

But even if he does trick with them, it never hurts to get more help.

Yes that is Dave C, along with Rudy and Cory. I've watched Dave's B-twist tutorial plenty of times and it kinda help me figure out what I was doing wrong. Also I would have him help me, but he injured his ankle and I didn't want to bug him for more help. Next session after I work on my form, if I still don't get it, I will ask Dave for advice and get someone to get some footage so you all can try to help.

Hi KYLE!!!
I guess something that helped me so far, was yesterday working on just standing b-kicks all night... I didnt have to worry so much about getting lost in the set up, and got to focus on getting my chest up and pulling that leg through the air...
And dip dammit!
Think of all the crap that we were talking about and stuff it all together, and piece by piece put them in the standing b-kick.
Like the U shape you told me about, the low dip, the jerking of that leg, turning and facing the side instead of diagonal like I was doing..
I feel like i need to make notes for this stuff... Its a lot to remember...

CHRIS!!
Thanks for those tips and I will be sure to drill that stuff. I think my B-twist looks better there than it did last night and this footage was probably from February or March.

Kyle.

Do a bkick.

Then twist.

Stop over complicating it.

KYLE DO A GAINER DAMMIT!

^I agree with Rudy

But seriously Kyle, you need to go for both. At the next session do both, and don't say you're going to do them and then not.

No promises, but I will try to do both of them, but if I land one I will want to clean it probably.

Yeah man, I just gotta clean it up, but they are fun to do and it might help with your backflips.

you could dip more but i actually thinks it will still do but what you should try doing is dipping faster and harder

and springing up faster
