You're not really doing a gumbi.Thats more of a cartwheel.

While going into it,throw your first legkinda to the side and go into the cartwheel.Put your first hand on the ground and wait like a second until you put your second hand on the ground then you will start to arch automatically.

Also the more you stall that second hand the more you will arch.

What works for me :

Do a pop 360 hook on your bad side, let the fot swing through while doing a cartwheel and there you go
