So for rippetoe's workout i have to do flat bench press. but i only have an incline bench.

Should i do the benches on the floor? or do decline? I want sexy American chest.

Press a bench. Simple as that.

But does it matter? If i do incline, won't it make my chest look weird without the lower part?

I, with my limited knowledge, would suggest that you supplement with dips.

But other than that I don't think there will be a problem with your chest looking deformed.

You could do pushups with weights on your back...

If you press a bench while inclined, it will fall on your legs.

Dumbell press, dumbell flys laying on a bench, doing those cable flys, weighted pushups.

Hate me now?

It's not that, but i was planning on following Rippetoe and not editing anything. i just need some advice. like if i do only incline bench will my chest get deformed?

Deformed would be a little extreme. Your upperchest will develope faster but that's not always a bad thing. If your lower pecs develope fast, doing inclined presses could even your chest out, IF your lower chest is already developed. But other than that, you don't have to do bench press in the routine. If you want the closest exercise with weights like a bench press, do dumbell bench presses.

Well my lower chest isn't that developed. infact, my upperchest is getting too developed. i wish i just had a flat bench. :/

Do you have any regular flat benches to sit on or do dips? If so just do it on them.

Wow are you serious? I think you should change gyms if they don't at least have basic equipment such as benches.

Unscrew the back pad and put it on top of cinder blocks to make a flat bench. Use more cinder blocks to create a rack for the barbell.

I suggested cinder blocks because they are inexpensive pieces of shit you can pick up anywhere. Get off your ass and be proactive!

TKD Andy what are you talking about?

If you put something under the one end there is no way to rack the barbell (unless he has a stand alone rack) let alone needing a ladder to get on the thing. Not to mention how unsafe it would be doing that.

Yes, the shoulder joint doesn't need any muscular force, it moves by itself.

Use grass clippings to make a flat cushion under your rack.
