and i noticed i have minimal spina bifida.

after i read about it, i'm done. what the hell am i going to do?

is it possible that i've had it since i was a baby? does it ONLY develope at birth, or can one get it through certain bad movements/whatever?

i'm sorry, i'm just feeling really shit because of this now.

haha hungarians would understand the whole meaning of it, it's kinda like a saying here. basically meaning, "okay let me sit down" haha.

What the fuck is this bifida? Aside from being a spinal problem. Reminds me of those yogurt commercials :D

well, the spinal cord comes out from your spine and literally out of your back. wich never happened to me, but i recon i might have spinal bifida occulta, wich means the split in the vertebrae is so small that the cord can't come out, hence being a slightly better form of spina bifida, if i'm correct, wich i hope i am.

anyway, according to the paper, the doctor did know about this, but she didn't mention it. would that mean (if it's minimal) it's not at all that bad?

@masterJ: well, whenever it hurts i feel that the muscles in my back are the ones hurting.

i have scoliosis, wich could cause pain because of all the muscles around the spine trying to fit. so it could be that this bifida bullfuck has nothing to do with it all, even more so if i was born with it (since it would be hurting since the very beginning, wich it hasn't).

@torre: haha basically.

anyway, i hope the regulars find this thread, i'd really like to hear their thoughts.

What has your doctor said in terms of physical activity in the future? This is a topic you really need to bring forward since they normally don't care all that much unless you press them for an answer.

Sounds like you should try your first double back tuck without a spotter or landing pad or trampoline. GO IN PEACE(s)!

I didn't know that you could develop it. I only thought it resulted from a folate deficiency from your mum during pregnancy.

How do you know that you have it, if your doctor didn't tell you?
