Warming Up and Capoeira Fiddling #2

Hey, I consider it training.

Opinions? Criticisms? Ideas? Complaints? Puppies? Kittens? Cigars? Have a cow? Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?

Do you have any goal with this? I mean...why are you doing it?Why are you trying to achieve?

why not , run a few suicides. do a few j jacks. full body stretch. thats what i do for my warm up.

as for cool down. i do the same just at less intensity but for longer getting easier and easier until i feel like its enough. after stretch again.

Because I can! :D ^^ Plus, I wouldn't mind knowing more things about martial arts. Especially ones disguised as a dance. And when I perfect it-- woof! Can't wait to see what's next. ^^

Is it THAT bad to just want to know... more? Pssh, yeah, I could use a lot more practice (a lot), but the fact that I want to and CAN try it and learn it makes me happy. Gives me an opportunity to know more things. Be smarter. Keeps me young.

*lol* that's a good warm-up. ^^ Though I daily change my routine. There's always something different about my routines every day. ^^

I didn't criticize you, I asked what your goals were with this program, damn it! If this is a warm up then what are you warming up to? If this is your workout then, again, what are your trying to achieve with it? And "knowing more about martial arts" does not necessarily mean, you have to do ginga...

*holds his hands up for peace* Okay! XD I'm sorry, Roz, that I took you for criticizing, I apologize.

I warm up because my body is cold before I work out.

Ahh, that kind of 'goal' and 'achieve'. Well, I wanna have the ability to stay in a roda if I ever see one. Plus, I wanna be flexible and lively. This is cardio for me, and I wanna get lighter and I wanna be able to move. Iunno how to box, so, Capoeira seems a good first step.

I do have to do ginga. It makes me tired, and I wanna not get tired.

The high jumps you did in the beginning... you've got the weirdest jump ever.

Of all the moments I slalomed into the floor... of the flips that I scratched my bum on... of those wheely-deely thingies that I did... of the omg stretching abilities... of the zomg headspring I can do... Honken, you comment my jump...

*facepalms*

Lol, but really, I agree, I do jump oddly. XD

Well, if that's your goals with this workout then it seems ok, but I would've changed some things up, considering it's a warm up. First of all a warm up should warm you up for the next physical activity, it should NOT tire you out. If you start to sweat and out of breath, it's a sign that you overdid it. Running and watching your diet will give you much better results, if you want to get lighter....

Edit: Why don't you just join a capoeira class, if you want to get good at it? :eh:

I'm unable to reach a capoeira class, so I'm being self taught.

Thank you, mate. ^^ I appreciate the advice. I'll keep it in mind, especially for my karate class. Woot, they sure get tired *laughs evilly* when *I* warm them up. I remember one time I warmed up the class. I might have overdone it (plus the 4 mile run earlier that day), 'cause then we moved onto jump kick drills, and I kept getting dizzy spells and dehydration attacks. Felt downright sick and disorderly. But, woot! talk about a new experience. XD

Running? Oh yeah, I run every day (except Sundays; Sunday is my blue card day). Diets? I just need to eat better foods and in less quantities. I'm glad I moved onto whole wheat. And tuna, I love tuna fish sammiches. Raisin bran in the mornings. Otherwise, the only tarnishing of my diet is dinner and snacks. Those two are my only downfall...

Oh well, my capoeira will get better somehow XD.

Jump as if you're gonna do a backflip. The best way to jump for a standing high jump. :good:
