I bet when you read the title you were thinking, "hmmmm another fatty".
WRONG.
If i was fat, I'd know what to do. Run.
Then run some more.
Then run home.
I'm 6'4" and weigh just 11.3 stone! Thats 71.5kg(ish)
I eat about 100g of protein a day and work out a lot, but can't seem to put weight on
If anyone else had has this problem, or thinks they found a cure - HELP
Thanks :)
Tom.

Then I would suggest you heavily increase your caloric intake [clean foods, would be most helpful ] Get some dairy into you if possible cheese's and milk have some fat that could help you out.
Wait for Rahf,Compleks, or Chin-something. They could probably give you more help then i could.

protein increases the metabolic rate so that could be part of it.

Eat a lot lot more and do the big compound lifts, start at 3500-4000cals a day and see if you're gaining weight, if you're gaining consistently around 1lb a week stick with it, if not increase daily intake by 500.
100g of protein is nowhere near enough to grow, for all studies say only around bodyweight is needed I've yet to see anyone make substantial gains with low protein intake.
At 6'4 you're going to have to put on a lot of muss to look bigger, start eating.
Try something like starting strength,
Obligatory squats and milk sentence.

I would highly doubt that he can't put on weight because he is eating a fair amount of protein.

Eat way more protein then you are right now. That other doesn't know what he is talking about on this matter.

Negligible, I can't be bothered to explain.

Erm.. ..What? :eh:
Ok, so:
-Eat more
-Work out more
Seems logical.
What about shakes? I've noticed a lot of people talking about them. Ive seen two types, the protein ones (whey) and the calorie ones.
Which would be better? Or Both?

Starting Strength is a book/workout program, a very good beginners one.
I'd say go for a decent quality whey with milk and things over a weightgainer purely because most are awful and just made up of huge quantities of sugar.
www.bulkpowders.co.uk is pretty decently priced for UK but is only unflavoured whey which personally I don't mind but some people bitch about the taste haha.

I used to make a protein milk shake. It basically a milk shake with bananas, peanut butter, protein powder and what ever fruit was available to me. It is fucking calorie packed [no exact number unless you got a scale handy] and with the protein mix you can add more protein to it as you please.
It taste fucking awesome but i had to stop because my dad got mad at me for depleting the fridge in a matter of days or so.
