My ears heard that maintainig a low body fat can have negative effects on one's sexual desire and disposition...
I'd really like to know at which point that is true... (the reason I'm asking this in this forum instead of doing a google research is that I might wanna read about some practical experiences as well).
Thanks for the attention.

Not sure. I assume it would have more to do with the dieting involved with achieving/maintaining a low bodyfat %, if there is infact any truth to it at all.
I'm sure everyone is different though. Personally, when I maintain a large calorie deficit I don't have much drive for anything physical. Even sex.
Too many factors to come to any reasonable answer I would think. Might have something to do with most people consuming very little fat when cutting weight.

Low body fat...
Also, if I may, you are great for the lols tonight Steve.
Steve is right, although I guess it affects males to some degree as well. Women lose their menstruation when dropping below, was it 17% or something like that?
And no kids, 17% BF on a woman is NOT comparable with the same amount on a man.

Definitely just a product of their diets.
No it's a product of their shit hormones, awful upbringings, and general laziness

Well done Steve:cool:
Also women stop menstruating around 8-11% BF, not 17%, ha ha

So according to this, most dangerously skinny girls won't be up for a shag.

So according to this, most dangerously skinny girls won't be up for a shag.
A dangerously (e.g. unnaturally) skinny girl will likely experience effects to their menstruation. A naturally skinny girl, on the other hand, will probably not encounter the effect. It's mainly interrupted in females athletes and women who diet extremely. Just being skinny does not necessarily mean menstruation will cease.
Or so I've heard. :paranoid:
Also, this doesn't mean they won't be up for a shag, but rather they won't be experiencing the increased sex drive that menstruation may bring.
Or so I've heard. :paranoid:
Yes that is right. Also most female athletes at a low body fat like that are more than likely more male (correct) in their appetites anyway and will still continue to bang.
Yes, this is females...body fat is an extragonadal mechanism for creting sex hormones from androgens...
More important idea is the reason behind low body fat percentage - in athletes the body is under stress - upsets hormone balance.
Major male hormones do not work the same. Either way I am ~7.5% last time I was checked, and nothing wrong here.
