i'm short of breath just watching this, how long were you filming for? and was this in cronological order, if so im extremley impressed you can land double corks at the end of a session especially a bunch of them . nice work either way

nice. swipenives and boxcutters could have been MUCH better though. i'd say those were the ones that needed the work.

That was fucking bomb, too sick. I really was hoping for a Cork Crowd Awakener though, still sick non the less.

i filmed over the period of something like 2 hours or so, i think...i actually did the double corks first then decided to do all the variations, but i can do a double cork at the end of a session depending on how much i hurt.
Rudy is fucking crazy good

Well, yeah the hook could have been more pronounced, but baring in mind the length of a session and the amount of tricks before it and I'm sure hypering a cork double leg is a bit of a high impact move, I forgive you :]

U can make the hook kick more massive by overrotating on the boxcutters and swipeknives, so that ur hip will allow more room for the kick to comeout. Ur setup is pretty interesting, everyone else runs in a semiscircle while u run in a straightline instead.

i used a semi-circle approach before, but in a conversation with the swedes at the hotel during LK camp, they said that setup was balls, and to go in a straight line.
i didnt believe them, but then i tried it and while my corks were already pretty high, they are even higher now. i think thats because with the semi circle you undercut the J-step without knowing it, so you dont block as much momentum as you would with a straight line

Thats awesome, i always just try a j-step rather than a u-step. So they say just run forward then pop into the 90 degree and swing ? I think i was watching teddy do that. Im going to apply this!

Aug-07-08, 06:36 PM
yea, teddy can just walk a few steps, and then jump into the j-step and double cork. its almost like going forward into a reverse setup, i think rudy said something about that too but i wasn't paying attention
