ok, i love zee carbs. just like most everyone else, haha. i eat sandwiches and cereal in the day and often times pasta at night. sometimes i'll make chicken or eggs in the evening if im feeling inspired, but thats not as often as it ought to be.

obviously i dont have a weight problem, nor do i ever get sick or exhibit any other symptoms of a shitty diet. but~ still, i know i eat a lot of carbs.

is there some invisible negative side effect to eating two bowls of cereal and two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for your three meals of the day? what tricky bad shit can a pretty consistent intake of carbs do?

<3, as always, for the biochemically knowledgeable people on these boards.

Carbohydtaes are for the win. Only people that have issues with carbs are fat girls that can't digest or use food properly.

Although if you're talking about refined sugar, then just die now. I hate processed sugar >:[ it is unnatural and gives people diabetes.

clearly _you_ give people diabetes. :ogre:

no, im not talking about processed sugar, haha. im talking about massive bowls of cheerios in whole milk and pbnj with whole grain bread, natural peanut butter and organic preserves.

No, carbs are basically irrelevant unless you are obese and never move

You get an occasional insulin spike, perhaps? Getting super-ultra low body fat around 0% might be hard, and you might even gain some weight if you consume a ton of calories per day.

Other than that, I don't know. Layman knowledge ftw.

EDIT: ... higher water rentention maybe?

Whaaaaa.....?

Shouldn't everyone eat some carbs?

If you don't have a weight problem and you're not sending your insulin levels on a roller coaster then I don't see what the problem is.

I hope someone calls me an idiot.

High carbohydrate diets do not give people diabetes, being overweight is what causes diabetes.

Do you go for regular or honey nut? Currently I'm repping the honey nut, but I'm considering mixing things up a bit.

always classic. the less processing my food goes through (ie, adding sweetener) the better. :swashy:
