Hi!!

once again I will a post a question that many people probably say "WTF" to. But hey can a question be stupid?. Anyhow how important is balance in tricking? Is there any use of training balance to become a better trickster? (Hmm, something tells me that it isn't so important)

Bear with me everybody!!

I don't think it's very importance, it's not like we trick on beams or sticks, we trick on grass that is rather large. The difference between foot placement and balance I feel should be addressed, if you do a pop 720 and fall over it's probably due to foot placement and not because you know...you can't physically stand up straight for very long.

I think balance, coordination, etc.. are important for tricking, but the only way to really develop those characteristics in a manner that relates to tricking is to trick. It just develops over time without thinking about.

Martial arts and/or gymnastics probably help though.

balance is always important.. nomatter which sport you do...
if you have a bad balance, (and not from a injury like a broken ankle or a sprain or whatever, just bad in general) your joint is weaker than a person with good balance, and you are more easily prone to injuries resulting from that.
