My first ever !!!!! After a bunch of crashes, I just barely got my feet under me on one...then I did two more. Called it a night after that though.
your first ones looked more like a gainerfull but when you landed it that was pretty corkish, nice stuff!

That's always been my problem, I have a hard time NOT doing a gainer full. And I don't have nearly enough height in my gainers to land one of those xD

once your technique builds they will be way awesomer
ok...several things that will help...
1.) find a better setup (shorten it)
2.) get used to spinning (this will come with more corks)
3.) you need to s/t more and keep your leg straighter...don't "pull" with your knee, pull with your foot
4.) keep your chest up a little bit longer, you are keeping it up really god, but maybe a little bit longer.
5.) one thing...are you spinning the right way? Your corks look like my opposite side corks, and they don't feel natural at all.
few questions.
which foot do you kick a soccer ball with?
which hand do you write with?
anyways....CONGRATS MAN!!! They will get better as you drill them, just keep at it.

1). This is the way my setup feels best to me. But now that I have them, I won't be so timid as I go into it :P
2) Yeah, I really am not a "twister." It took me FOREVER to learn fulls, and I still have problems with them, and I can't do anything more than a btwist (and now cork).
3) I realized that when I watched the videos, I will keep that in mind for my next attempts :P
4) Longer? I realized I cut it short in the ones I actually landed, but my problem always seemed to be stalling TOO long xD
5) Okay well, this is weird...Yeah I spin to my right for all twists, but I spin to the left for kicks. At one point, I felt more comfortable with gainers on my left (which I can still do) than gainers on my right, which most likely accounts for the awkwardness. See, I forced myself to learn on my right, since that works with my btwists.
I kick a soccerball with each foot equally, but write with my right hand.
I 540 with my right foot, gainer off my right foot, btwist off my right foot....but I can also do each of those (not as well) off my left. I roundoff with my right foot leading the lunge which works with my fulls which felt better spinning to the right (learned on trampoline).
So yeah, thanks for the tips! I really was just forcing the twist, I could feel that. But hopefully, now that I have this confidence, I'll be able to make my technique better.
P.S. I know how to embed, I was hoping for some youtube comments D:

1.) if the setup feels best work with it, you can change it later after you get comfortable, i've been through at least 4 personally.
2.) if you are not a twister, just work with it and it will be more comfortable later
3.) yeah, just keep it in mind, follow all the way through with that kick
4.) if you had a problem with stalling to long then you probably stalled the spin to long...if you keep your chest up longer on the take off that will get you more height, once you take off then you can spin, don't stall the spin in the flip. (does that make sense)
5.) My thought is if you spin to the right for kicks and spin to the left for flips..can you drill both thins on both sides and become ambitrixterous? Like learn b-twist and cork to the left and your kicks to the right so you can do things on both sides
ok yeah try learning spin to your left, because if you write with your right hand then you can pull "better" with it to the left across your body.
I'm not trying to change your style or what works for you (ok well i am but...) i am trying to figure out what will work best for you tricks in general, you don't have to switch sides or stall longer i think you should be fine with your stall now, just a little thing to try.
also i commented on your video  and as you said the more comfortable you get the better it will be

keep at it, do what you do,
if you wanna change your setup around like most people are saying, then play around with it :D
just keep at it and get used to it.
