Knot in shin.

Theres a small bump on my right shin. I hit my leg on the refrigerator door. So could it be similar to a bump on the head? Whenever someone gets a lump on their skull; it appears almost immediately after impact from whatever hit them. This didn't appear until a few hours later and it is not painful unless touched. What could it be?

depends, i would suggest swelling from a bruise?
It could be you have dented the shin but that normally goes in not out, haha.

It could be I suppose. However; It's not the color a bruise usually is. I didn't know I had it until I rubbed against it. I couldn't tell it was there through the skin. It is red now though (from me rubbing it) It feels almost as hard as bone.

Make sure you steralise all equipment, you will definitly need a sharp cutting knife, alcohol and towels, the benifit of alcohol being its sterile :)
