so, starting two weeks ago, landing my 540s (which had not changed that dramatically from what i can tell) began to hurt my hip. not the anterior hip muscles or the joint, but an inner muscle. i can feel it when i straighten my hips out (ie, standing up from a chair, getting up from bed) pretty distinctly the morning after tricking. the pain is far from debilitating, but it certainly discourages me from tricking.

if i were to describe the location of the pain, id say an inch inward from the tip of the ilium bone and two or three inches down. thats where the pain ends and is most pronounced. from there, it follows a path sort of diagonally back up to the tip of the ilium. it feels like its either the bottom segments of the iliacus or the psoas major, perhaps the pectineus, or~ any of the abductors. thats a lot of different muscles that im not sure how to stretch or help.

can someone help me figure this out? i think if i could just figure out how to stretch it or something, life would get better. or at least my 540 landings would. :swashy:
