i have a few questions...
i do weight workout 3 times a week and the other days i normally trick...
but as i want do build jump and Sprint muscles i started to begin plyometric training (without weights, just bounds,fast-hops,dropjumps...etcetc) , a week ago....
now i did it every two days but im not exactly sure how often i should do it to get the best training effects out of it any ideas?....
another question...
i train with weights monday wednesday and friday and every second training my training consists of squats, deathlifts and lockouts at knee height... so my question is, is it even usefull when i do plyometrics a day or two after my "squat-day" or isn't it!?
it would be really great if somebody could give me some good advice and i don't want to here fitness myths please...like it's unhealthy blablabla....fuck that....
just good advice on how to put it in my trainingplan...

thanks in advance

What's a lockout at knee height?

If you trick and lift weights plyometrics probably aren't going to do a whole bunch unless you cycle your tricking (ie: have periods where you don't trick).

lockouts are deathlifts at knee height....you can also do lockouts on a benchpress.... to strengthen your mostly weaker triceps, you just have to put the weight on helping bars that are about 20cm over your chest and push from there...

I doubt you are advanced enough to need lockouts to further increase your deadlift.

The only people I know that do lockouts are the powerlifters that train at my gym, and they're on national level.

:good:

Get stronger, trick, and sprint. You don't need plyometrics if you're already doing those three at good volume.
