Ear lobe filled with blood

Does anyone else have this happen? It's happened a few times before when my earlobe swells at the back, filling with blood. I usually prick and drain the blood out. It's happened again now for the 3 time lol.

I sometimes get zits or pimples at the back of my ear. I pop them and clean the puss out but I usually forget about the blood that comes out after you pop a pimple. So the next day I find blood crusties on my pillow and just use cleanex to wipe them off my ear.

Well, now I got this big dark purple sac on the back of my ear lobe, it's only a matter of time before I accidently sleep on it and it bursts... it's really quite disgusting

Hmm. I've never had one as big as that. Try putting some acne medication on it after popping it. Usually does the trick for me.

hahaha. It's funny because I have exactly the same thing, except on both ears. It affected me from ages 14 to 17. I went to my dermatologist and he said they were cysts (idk if it's the same word in english).

Basically if you don't get surgery for them the cyst's shell always stays even after you burst it. Weird thing is, I got surgery on both ears (I looked like dumbo with those big white patches) and on one ear they just kept coming, then they stopped like a year ago for no reason.

They're annoying, ugly and may make you a bit tired but they're not dangerous afaik. DO NOT touch them or itch the area even when you have no cyst, it promotes its growth.

My best advice is well, see a dermatologist eh :punched:

Thanks for the advice. btw I burst it just a few minutes ago, and it was disgusting! Big lumps of blood and chunks of pus coming out, wipe it with tissue, throw in toilet...

Yea once I was doing hapkido, and we were sparring about 2 years ago, I had a smaller one, about to burst. The instructor grabbed my gi and his sleeve scraped up my ear, causing it to burst and go onto his gi and floor. He asked what happened, and I said it kinda ripped my earlobe, I wouldn't want to mention that it was actually a blood filled cyst, with pus that just squirted onto his clothes! lol:wink:
