This is 100% correct. What to do? This:

Practice doing this on a butterfly. As you enter your butterfly, you're going to be in a bent position (not necessarily the dip, the bending back towards the direction you just came from) which, if held correctly, will give you that 90 degrees flatspin (most every single person who can Btwist does this correctly). Hang on to that flatspin as your first leg lands and allow your back leg to fall behind you, putting you in stance for a standard pop.

As you work your way back to the aerial version, it becomes really just about kind of turning as/just after you land so that your momentum works with you (as opposed to against you if you were to go for backside). This clip seems pretty good to me, set as a "pop 540 kick" or [hyper 360 round].

This only works for "tricker aerial," working in direct contrast to "gymnastic aerial" which sets you up for backside kicks just like a raiz/invert raiz/rise.

What are you trying to say? He twists and clockwise so he would have right foot leading for his normal pop tricks, in this clip he takes off with left foot leading. To my understanding, that makes it backside regardless of if his body is 180 or 270 away from a regular pop.
