Ok so i have finally learned how to land on my ass everytime and I get high enough to if i rotated faster i would land on my feet, wont have a vid till tomorrow...........

Anyways I know i have to tuck, but whenever i grab my shins i get no height and whenever i grab the back of my leg i dont tuck...... So anyone got any advice?

o yeah this is how it usually works out for me.....................
I first drive my leg hard into the air and jump high
I then flip over and land on my ass.

I know theres not much u can do without a vid but its really the tipical alot of height not enough rotation, any tips?

Use Dogen's MP3 (Maximum Peak & Power Principle)

You shouldn't be taking off from the ground until the kicking leg is at the highest it is going to go. you get more air that way.

I also had the same problem as you. I kick back with my right, and my friend suggested to grab the back of my leg (quad? That part of your leg under your butt), and I did it and overfliped and landed on my face. I eventually got the rhythm down and I can now do those as well as axe2websters.

Hopefully this helps

Man so sick of this myth of "jumping high and stalling".

You need to be strong to do that.

Just get your chest low and tuck almost immediately when you take off. Don't do this chest really high bs.

Ok I can do just about anykind of webster or variation, so I think I can help you. Anyways think of a high reverse leg lift, you want to go as far as your flexibility allows. Keep your chest up while you do this then push off the ground. From there I think you got it .

this is a vid of me doing one just to give you a reference.

You said grab your shins. If you aren't, try tucking on just one leg (the non-kicking one). Also watch lynall's tutorial (http://trickstutorials.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35484) if you haven't. It was very helpful for me.

Well, what I'm see or what I'm not seeing is the tuck.

I suggest a tighter tuck

Well you're missing - jumping, tucking, swinging the leg up hard, everything basically. How good is your frontflip and aerial?

I can punch front pretty easily and my aerial is fine.......
I tried axe websters (with baby axes) and i can land extremely low on my feet but usually on my ass. Keep giving all the tips so i can try em all and see what helps.

Alright it seems no one has really given much good advice. Here I go. First of all look at your back leg on the take off. It doesn't lift NEARLY enough, if you watch most people their leg stretches up high on takeoff before they start flipping. And at that same time push up with the jumping leg (of course). And your arms are a whole other story. Swing your right arms down and around with your bodies rotation while your leg is lifting. Once you get airborn you need to tuck tight and I would suggest grabbing the back of your thighs(under the knees). To be honest it looks like you're just throwing your body forward. Try doing what I said and let's see if we can make some improvement ^_^

I said the same thing, with the exception of arms...

man, you need to like throw your arms into it then block for the rest of the rotation, but you dont seem at that level yet

Dude you puch your websters with both your feet. It's supposed to be one foot while the other reaches the highest point (almost halfway trhough) before taking off.
