fulltwists are pretty easy, just go for it

Well, that looks kinda like its half way between a layout and a whip. But, you should be able to twist it. Try pulling your hips over more so you don't have to throw your legs down at the end.

Dude you got that. Go for it. Just don't freak out in the middle of the spin. But you totally have enough height. I would only be worried if your backflip was as high as this:

That was a sweet backflip.

that is not a "proper" layout. for a real layout you should be hollow.

but that's ok, because layout is not really a prerequisite for a full though it does help to have one

you don't want to base your full off of that due to the huge arch

to answer your question, you have enough power to pull a full twist, but if I were you I would drill basics a bit longer

you have to set that shit man

when you get off the ground reach your arms up for the skyyyyyy

then twist

i would say to keep working basics including basic twisting form

im no gymnast. but a layout i believe you dont jump and arch everything lol. if i had to imagine myself doing it you'd be looking forward or down, and u'd be 'pulling' with ur shoulders and ur feet..

for a fulltwist none of this is required haha.

the key to twisting is to keep your head neutral. your body will be rotating about your Z axis so you want your body aligned about it.

stay tight to decrease your moment of inertia. your body follows your head so when you full you will be looking over your shoulder

Hey Baron, saw you in the MG vids, keep on rocking it!

One thing I'm not understanding is how you keep your head neutral and also look over your shoulder. I know I'm misinterpreting something, and I honestly want to understand. Your fulls are better than mine <grumble>

I mean you don't want to arch or round your head too much otherwise your twist will be sloppy

part of getting moves .. quicker is by not worrying about how sloppy it is at first.

i say chuck it, land it, keep drilling until you can do it effortlessly, at which point by then you'd have gotten cleaner.

rather than be a whore and give up if something isn't "perfect"

Personally, i really disagree. I think having good technique on flips isn't that high of a standard to be held too. I also have a much harder time fixing tricks than taking the time to learn them correctly. Plus, i'd really much rather have a decent trick to start with a shitty trick that needs fixing and isn't really impressive, even if it takes a little longer to learn.

Bein a whore has nothin to do with wanting perfect tricks. you should know all about that bein the big 'ol whore you are.
