then i would begin the Monday Night Trick League....

Every Monday night prearranged battles would take place, and voting would continue all week long

eventually brackets would be formed and prizes would be given out to those who advance :) cool t shirts headbands stickers maybe that kind of thing, itd be cool if we could eventually get some clothing companies to throw out some goodies or help sponsor it

An Online Trick Battle League would be good for tricking in general... if i was going to put it into action id want to eventually make a myspace for it and then broadcast to the public to promote tricking awareness... I mean the word battle alone sounds intriguing then when people see tricks with some rules in a competition online tournament people might take notice and actually become supporters, promoter, viewers, or hopefully tricksters in there own.

Now you see, as we stand right now TT is run just by Juji. What that means is that TT has no advertisement and it's not censored at all. The moment you include a clothing company in there that means that:

1) They will start to own a part of TT, and thus turning it into a corporate piece of shit, by adding advertisements.

2) TT will no longer be uncensored. Therefore the main tricking forum in the world will no longer be representative of what a trickster really is.



Not only that, but as Reim mentioned before, not everyone shares your view of what tricking should be. I have no problem whatsoever with tricking getting more exposure, but I want it to get exposure for what it really is.

Now, what you can do Ryan, is go make your OWN website and do these battles there. You can even link it to TT and i'm sure the majority of people will have no problem with that, HOWEVER trickstutorials was never founded on the principles you are putting forth in your argument and I'm sure the last thing Juji wants is some corporate whores tearing up what he worked so hard for in the past years.

i haven't read anything past this because i got bored. Apart from glancing at people's bad reactions towards the idea haha.

I thought i was a pretty awesome idea. Like obviously it should be kept all friendly-like but i reckon if i was put into a battle (this may just be me as i'm pretty competative) each week against someone around my ability or even slightly higher it would make me train new more original and different tricks...although there is the problem of not everyone having camera's including me.

But yea i think it would be awesome to have like a mini league thing going on. People can enter at will and it gives people who request battles, but don't get any reply due to not being known or people missing threads, to actually get that chance to battle.

I think the prizes would just be too complicated and needless as people live all over the place. I could also care less about the whole clothing sponsorship thingy.
