To all tricksters with shitty bent legged kicks, why don't you people want sexy high ass kicks? I'm tired of seeing shitty bent legged kicks

Lots of people do.
Too many to name.

And lots of people don't.
Too many to name.

That's a bit like asking why lots of people have a low backflip, or keep bailing double corks... the answer is obviously because it takes a lot of time and effort to get good. It's not like you can flick a switch and instantly have great kicks...

Getting at least decent, straight, high kicks is not difficult.

Depends what kick you're doing.

I think this thread isn't fair. It shouldn't be aimed at people who don't have very good kicks; it should be aimed at people who don't have very good kicks and aren't trying to improve them.

Mehhh? What makes you think it's not aimed at them?

The fact is, there's lots of people who do it that way, and then keep it that way. They feel that they don't need to improve them.

To anyone who actively is trying to improve them, then this topic would inherently be irrelevant to them. Or maybe, it would just give them even more motivation than they already have. Regardless, it's the truth!

Besides, if someone is actively trying to improve them, then they have obviously recognized the low quality in the first place, and then moved on to try to improve them. So they wouldn't deny it anyways.

Hmmm quite a moot point.

It is implied in the first post that "all tricksters with shitty bent legged kicks" don't "want" good kicks, as if all you had to do get them good was to will it. I find it pretty disrespectful to those of us who do want to and are really trying to improve our kicks. It's not that simple. I mean seriously, do you actually think people intentionally do ugly kicks?

It's quite simply actually, to be completely honest, you don't even need the flexibility. As long as the kick passes through the target and has loads of power in it, it's going to be quite okay. If it's at head height, it's going to be good. :good:

I think most people with bad kicks, don't have good basics, and with basics I mean rounds, hooks, crescents and wheels. If you have good core basic kicks (which are pretty easy to achieve, with the correct technique and loads of drilling), kicks later on won't be a problem :good:. My wheel kicks were good when I started learning the c7, and my first c7 was better than most peoples regular ones. It wasn't much worse than it is now tbh hah.

Yes! I'm not that flexible and I can do above waist kicks, I don't even train them

You're not kicking wheelkick in your cheat 720 tho, you're doing crescent:smile:

Wouldn't you be kicking just whatever the kick was? Username uploaded a clip a while ago and he was kicking with a hook.

I think he meant Augenatic's ch7 specifically... not that it's somehow impossible to use a wheel kick in a cheat 720

the fact that you're good at whatever kick, hook kick for instance doesnt make your cheat 720 better if ure doing crescent.
