Skilzat, I love you man! With a lot of people falling into the popular trend of being assholes to everyone and not caring how everyone else feels, you are always there to set people straight. You say what people are afraid to say and you have your head on straight:) Anyways, just wanted to say that I appreciate what you do for the community man!

Skilzat has been such an impressive contributor to the community for many years. From his website, Justtheskills.com (goatse.cz) to his vehement mod-ulation of TT and well-used wisdom, Skilz is an awesome guy. I've never spoken to him online or in real life, but I would no-doubt trust him with many things, including my fragile glassware, pizza, personal info, pirate booty, children, and important decisions. I'm not sucking up because I don't do dipshit like that.
In fact! I'd like to ask Skilzat a few questions! let's interview him!

What kind of stuff would you like to do when you get older?
Ahh yes! Well, I would like to continue tricking for as long as possible. Of course, once this becomes implausible, I'll give it up, with little regrets, of course!
I'd like to get a job in some field specifically within my area of expertise, be it in programming of whatever sort, software design, and/or web design. It's fun! Along with this, I'd like a family. By family I may just mean me and a wife, in the world we live in, trying to raise decent children and provide for them (both physically, and mentally) may not be a very wise investment.
In terms of schooling, I personally hate the school system, and plan to get out of it as soon as possible. While in it however, I do plan to educate myself on things beneficial to me that I don't already know, mostly centered around my career field, programming. I also plan to expound my knowledge on this by researching it myself, because in all honesty, programming is one field in particular that one can learn mostly all on their own, if that is their desire. But I think a formal education mixed with self-experimentation will most benefit me personally.
And in general, I hope to continue trying to learn more about others and trying to lead a good example, though I often fall short. I've started and plan to keep continuing gaining more knowledge and wisdom in all aspects of life, from the physical to the scientific, to spirituality and generally trying to get along with everyone. I also enjoy learning about the methodologies of the thinking of others, the beliefs of others and why they believe so, and generally why we all need to pat each other on the back regardless of our backgrounds.
Who are some of your main tricking influences?
I'd say I draw most inspiration, in terms of execution/style, or generally how I want mine to look or the general feel I want to convey, from people like Scalco, KJER, Sesshoumaru, Crazy Asian, and Mogwai. Although, don't expect my tricks to look just like theirs. Hehe :juji:. I mostly just like the general way they choose to execute, and moreso the type of tricks they throw in to create an awesome looking sequence, whether they know it or not!
In terms of motivation to reach out in tricking, I draw motivation from Ott, Anis, Pitlock, and we'll throw Sessh and CA in there again! YEA!
When it comes to the general mentality behind tricking, why I do it, and what I feel about it, of course I have my own thoughts of this, but I draw inspiration from the thoughts of Jujimufu, Swartz (:tongue:), and most recently Ben Brown. While I don't share Ben Brown's martial arts zeal, or have basically any martial enthusiasm, I find much of his mentality in regards to tricking very consistent, strong, and understanding.
Are you interested in SCIENCE!?
Yes! I won't say I look deeply into all aspects of science of course, I like knowing how things work, and having the facts or thoughts about things and such. However, I don't feel like researching into stuff that isn't meaningfully so much that I loose my general appreciation for it.
I love science, even since I was a little kid! There's a science to just about everything on the earth, and by understanding how certain things work, well obviously we come to understand more about the universe. It also helps to put us into perspective. But knowing all the forces and laws that govern the universe both humble oneself, while at the same time help one to gain more and more knowledge.
I don't think that science is going to be the end all to everything, but it is beautiful! And I'm happy that we can all quantify the essence of the universe that we get to enjoy. Sweet! And not to mention the more specific aspects of science that are fun.
Even tricking is a science in itself! For some reason or another, my Biology textbook for this semester has made me wish I could publish a similar textbook, but for tricking! Ha! That would be fun, especially if it had lots of pretty pictures and illustrations. Who knows, maybe some day!
Explaining tricks through words and even pictures though often times just can't quite express the exact message one is trying to convey in regards to tricks though. Must, make, videos!

Haha, thanks. I'm not quite mr awesome though. I mean, I do try to be. And by that I mean, I don't walk around saying "oh man I want people to think I'm awesome." I try to better myself, by learning more and studying, thinking processing reasoning, weighing options and consequences, analyzing others and their thoughts, opinions, and reasons for uhh, reasoning. My mind has become arrayed with many thoughts, and yet I, like humankind, still know so little! Oh well, that just means I have an infinite amount of more stuff to learn from. :wise:
But even if I try to word myself decently on the forums or whatever, who knows I just have lots of flaws haha. Mostly in real life, where I don't always have time to sit down and think and develop a thesis or exactly what I want to say. I also have trouble giving my attention to multiple things, which often times will lead me to forget to do a specific task, or even what the heck I'm doing at the moment ahaha.
So I'm not naturally talkative. It's something I've been trying to work on as late, and it may surprise you based on all the hot air I spew on the forums haha. Don't ask me why! It might also have to do with my very passive nature. This may be both a good thing and a bad thing. It's a bad thing in that I don't always feel the need to express myself, and I don't. It's a good thing in that well, it's characterized me in part by getting too into other peoples opinions, especially in real life situations. Everyone is entitled to think or believe what they want about anything, whether it's true, false, or whether noone even knows for sure, which can often times be the case. So I let lots of things slide. Although, while I am passive I don't compromise my own values or standards or integrity or whatever you wanna call it, or let people walk all over me. Screw that, I try to strike a proper balance.
Although, I never really have to stand up for myself that much, since noone really bothers me. Probably since I try to be nice and respectful to everyone in real life, which is easier than forums as you could imagine haha.
But I just don't have problems with people. In fact, even on the forums it may seem like I have a problem with people, but I really don't haha. I don't have a grudge against anyone here, and I don't hate anyone here. I try to be relatively unbiased, although I do have to have fun sometimes! :tongue: But really, if I seem mad at someone I'm most likely just clearly stating a strong thesis and really have no emotional attachment to the situation haha. I've stopped getting offended at stuff. Reason prevails!
Although, the exception here is Art MD. Screw that guy, he's a faggot.

I may sound like a spoil sport, but I think sometimes I just don't want to go. That my own perception of course, and my own opinion. There's nothing wrong with gatherings, but for me personally I just can't see myself dropping all the stuff I have going on in my life (and by that I don't mean drama, I just mean yeno work school other obligations and general passiveness and laziness ahah) and attending one to trick around and such haha.
Also, part of me doesn't wanna be around a lot of the, frankly, stupid crap or drama or whatever that goes on at gatherings. Who knows, I live but a simple life and have simple desires. :smile:

Although, gathering or not, there are a few faces I would love to get a chance to meet in real life: Sesshoumaru, Jujimufu, Shengoikee, kinetic, well those are the especially ones. I would also like to meet and have a conversation with, well basically anyone who I've managed to have enjoy getting along with on the forum or AIM. This ranges from you and WillT, to all the UK guys (from Andy(s) to simon Matt R Tim the whole crew), the Colorado crew (Dan Perez, a fellow worker in tricking knowledge, more than me in fact, along with Vail Cepopeye and it'd be good to see Taimatsu again). Scott and Jan would be a treat too, those guys are awesome. MOD POWER! Actually, basically all the mods would be cool to meet haha. Oh and Jon P! Haha we used to fight on the forums and stuff but now we're basically awesome. Plus he's a nice chill man who's settled down and married, something I can definately respect. And I'm sure I'm forgetting some people. I'd get along with anyone I say!
